SANTIAGO DE LOS CABALLEROS, República Dominicana.- Andrés Cueto Rosario, administrador de Edenorte, ha asegurado que en lo que va de su gestión se ha logrado un ahorro de RD$ 191 millones mensuales, lo cual se ha conseguido tras una reorganización que va desde limitar la nómina, hasta la revisión de contratos.

El funcionario sostuvo que también ha logrado hacer más eficiente el cobro de la energía servida, mejorar el suministro en los sectores, iluminación de las provincias y aumentar la cantidad de usuarios de la empresa estatal.

“Nosotros estamos cobrando el 99 % de la energía, estamos llevando energía 24 horas, hemos aumentado el número de usuarios en más de 50 mil y que hoy todas las Edes hemos reducido el personal en más de 1, 600”, aseguró el titular de Edenorte.

Cueto Rosario, quien desde su llegada a la administración de Edenorte, ha denunciado anomalías de la gestión pasada, dijo que producto de la transparencia y una reorganización interna han logrado ahorrar dinero al Estado dominicano.

“No se estamos ahorrando 191 millones pesos mensuales,   con la reducción del Consejo Administrativo, reducimos los  gastos de combustibles,  reducimos el uso de la flota, hemos  estado  revisando constantemente todo lo que tiene que ver con la sobrevaluación de los materiales.”, afirmó el funcionario.

En relación al proceso de investigación relacionado a la administración pasada, cuento dijo que no tiene nada que opinar en ese sentido, porque para eso hay una  justicia que actúa de manera  independiente, la cual confía hará su trabajo.
