TRAS CINCO AÑOS DE PRECARIEDADES, RESIDENTES EN MONTE VERDE RECIBEN SERVICIO DE AGUA POTABLE

Santiago de los Caballeros, Santiago, R.D. – Después de permanecer por más de cinco años sin recibir el servicio de agua potable, los moradores del sector Monte Verde de este municipio están recibiendo el preciado líquido, gracias a los trabajos realizados por la Corporación del Acueducto y Alcantarillado de Santiago (Coraasan).

Según expresó el presidente de la junta de vecinos del referido sector, Jaime Bisonó, llevaban años exigiéndole a la pasada gestión una solución, demanda que quedaba en el vacío.

Jaime Bisonó indicó que a la llegada del ingeniero Andrés Burgos a la dirección de Coraasan, se reunieron con él y prometió buscar una solución inmediata a la problemática, y así lo hizo.

“Estamos muy agradecidos de la gestión de Burgos; hoy recibimos agua potable de manera continua. Comprar camiones de agua es cosa del pasado en este sector”, manifestó Bisonó, al hablar en nombre de los residentes de Monte Verde.

De su parte, el ejecutivo dijo sentirse bien con las expresiones de los comunitarios, y que eso lo compromete a seguir trabajando en busca de soluciones a otros sectores para llevar el servicio de agua potable en continuidad y calidad como es el deseo del presidente Luis Abinader.

Burgos indicó que en diciembre pasado realizaron la instalación de 800 metros lineales de tubería pvc para conectar el sector a la línea de distribución de la carretera Las Palomas-Hato Mayor.

El funcionario dijo que la solución implicó una inversión de alrededor de ocho millones de pesos y gracias a este esfuerzo el referido sector hoy recibe el preciado líquido.

“Es la satisfacción del deber cumplido”, concluyó el director de la entidad, al recibir las manifestaciones de agradecimiento.
