SALUD PÚBLICA REPORTA 886 NUEVOS CONTAGIOS DE CORONAVIRUS Y 7 MUERTES

El Ministerio de Salud Pública dominicano reportó este jueves 886 nuevos contagios de COVID-19 y 7 defunciones a causa de la enfermedad notificadas en las últimas 24 horas.

El país acumula 363,735 casos de coronavirus y 4,063 muertes por la pandemia desde marzo del año pasado.

Un total de 352,735 personas han superado la enfermedad y los casos activos suman 7,599, de acuerdo con el boletín diario de Salud Pública sobre la evolución de la pandemia.

La información da cuenta de que 517 personas están hospitalizadas en el país por coronavirus, para una ocupación de camas de 20 %, mientras que las unidades de cuidados intensivos (UCI) están al 30 % de su capacidad, con 185 camas ocupadas.

En tanto, los ventiladores en uso ascienden a 113, para un 22 % de la disponibilidad.

La tasa de positividad diaria se ubicó en 18.36 % y la de las últimas cuatro semanas, en 8.41 %.

De acuerdo con el boletín, en la última jornada se procesaron 7,576 muestras para detectar la COVID-19.

El levantamiento del estado de emergencia desde el próximo 11 de octubre conlleva el levantamiento del toque de queda y las restricciones de las libertades de tránsito y de asociación en todo el país, dijo en rueda de prensa desde el Palacio Nacional, el consultor jurídico del Poder Ejecutivo, Antoliano Peralta
